Two Robbers Seltzer Co.
June 2021 - October 2022
Two Robbers is one of the fastest growing craft beverage startups in the country and branching out into Happy Coffee, Fishtown Taproom, and other various fun projects. The focus with Two Robbers goes beyond making a top of the line beverage. It’s a community for creativity, art and converstion. The brand focuses on incorporating different art styles ranging from photography, videography, design, comic books, and way more.

What started as a freelance photogrphy project back in January of 2020, turned into a full time design gig with the team over a year later.

Working with the art director and the co-founder, we work together to bring the best of contemporary designs and work. As a team, we focus on branding strategies, such as posters, events, social media content. In addition, we find new ways for advertising which include creating comic books, pop-ups, cars, merch and events. During my time with the company, I’m able to expand my knowledge on animation, photo retouching, branding and much more.

Two Robbers x Union Beer Distributors Truck
-
Two Robbers had an opprotunity to create truck wraps for the New York beer distributor; Union Beer. Keeping in mind these trucks will be on the road, it was best to keep the design simple, yet to the point. Therefore, the slogan, image and flavor are the only things on the truck apart from the logo.

Two Robbers at Citizens Bank Park
-
The sales team did an amazing job and Two Robbers is officially sold at Citizens Bank Park, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies. With this addition, we had a space for a poster. Super stoked to have been able to design and photogoraph this poster from the ground up! We went to the stadium to capture some photos of this big achievement.

Comic Book Launch
With the first release of the first Two Robbers Comic Book, the team had an idea to post up Two Robbers Comic Book Stands at the best stores/restaurants that sell Two Robbers. This was a promotional video advertising these wild Comic Book Stands
Fruit Punch Production Video
Going to the factory that packages Two Robbers, the goal was to record an ASMR style video for social media. Give the viewers a view from behind the curtain of how Two Robbers is put together.

Snowboard Design

Elevated Surfcraft is a snowboard company based in Mammoth, California. What makes these snowboards unique is the inspiration the shapes take from surfing. (I can go on and on about the significance and designs of these shapes).

The main focus while at Elevated Surfcraft was to work on new graphics and new snowboard shapes. The process was to get the snowboard dimmensions and shape and transition it into Illustrator. The previous boards already had an existing design identity surrounded by simplicity and colors so I had to tie in the new graphics with the old. The color pallete was combined with the name of the boards. For example: Whiskey Jack was named after the bird, using its colors we came up with the color scheme for the board to match its name.

Following this, the next tasks were to create a social media campaign to engage individuals in the shapes of the boards. This was solved by creating a campaign to teach followers what makes these boards different than regular boards.

I worked closely with Aaron (the founder) and we discuss different ideas that will bring success. Sometimes I’m given the free hand for creativity, other times we have a vision of what we want to create.

Designing the 2021/2022 Snowboards
-
Working with Aaron, we designed the MegaFish, Whiskey Jack, Micro Driver, Minni Hawk. Completely redesigned the Powfish and reworked minor aspects of the previous boards. This project included creating print files for the factory and following it up by creating mockups for the web site and social media.

Board Graphics
-
Next part was to create vectors for the website to visually communicate what each board is about and how it’s made. This was split up into 2 sections: Profile and Length. When it comes to snowboarding, the board profiles are a big deal; different profile boards ride differently and are made for different purposes. Think of cars, suv, truck, sedan, station wagon are all used for different things. It’s important to educate the buyer about these different types of boards.

This allowed us to use the graphics throughout the website, social media and the lookbooks.

Elevated Surfcraft has a demo board sale each season.
This was an Instagram post of the sale boards.

Inbetween Post
-
Apart from the 2021 Snowboard campaign, I worked on
various Instagram posts and stories to keep the users
engaged. This consisted of anything from interactive
Earth Day posts to the “Elevated Human Rights” post.

FullTilt Labs
June 2022 - Present
FullTilt Labs is an upcoming cannabis cultivation company. The first task of this project was to come up with a logo and chip away at a brand identity behind the scenes. Similar to your craft beer, FullTilt Labs aims to produce the equivalent of craft cannabis. The brand wants to focus on giving off a “premium” feel to its name, while keeping it cool and hip.

After the logo was established, the next focus was to create a placeholder website and some merch. Since this is a field I’m not familiar in, a lot of time has gone into researching already well established cannabis brands. My knowledge of the alcohol industry allows me to bring in some valuable information about marketing as well. One idea was to create apparel that will seperate them from its competitors.

This is an ongoing freelance project, with more exciting design works to come!

Logotype
-
Since this is a premium cannabis brand, my first though for the logo was to make use a serif typeface; to give the logo a luxurious feel. The client wanted a minimal logo with a “drip” effect which will symbolize the brand well. Also there was an emphasis on using yellow or purple. After a few revisions, this is the logo that we agreed will work best.

Shirt Design and Shoot
-
This project was loads of fun. I love designing apparel. The shirts were designed to generate hype while the brand is still developing its product. The slogan for FullTilt Labs is “Expanding the Mind.” This couldn’t be another white logo shirt for an up and coming cool brand. It had to represent the brand and also get it’s target audience excited about what’s to come.

This was further accomplished by creating a mysterious style video of a spinning shirt. The process was quite fun using a greenscreen, lights to create the floating shirt.

Team Hoodie
-
Third part of the branidng for FullTilt Labs was creating some logo hoodies. Embroidered logo on the front with another emboriderede secondary logo on the left sleeve. I love this color combo.

97 Labs
March 2020 - July 2021
An experimental apparel design project. The purpose was to study and experiment with different design styles, mediums and ideas, while tying it all together through apparel.

The problem I wanted to solve was mixing fashion with art. This was done by studying contemporary fashion and design trends. I wanted to take something that feels familiar and make it unfamiliar. This was communicated using video, photography, posters, and anything in between.

The idea was to create a brand, release a few drops, and interact with other artists. This was split into different projects. 97 Labs did a photoshoot for Oklahoma Smokes. This also led to becoming a sponsor of Freedom NJ. (Freedom NJ is a non-profit organization that provides an indoor place to skate during the NJ winters).

The Instagram campaign drew a lot of attention and positivity and grew to 600+ followers. The apparel that was created was shippede throughout the US, Canada, Poland and Netherlands. Apart from creating various design concepts for apparel, I created a series of posters with the objective to questioning reality. This was inspired mainly by René Magritte’s The Treachery of Images.

Project No. 001 - 9798 Club
-
A collaboration with my friends from Poland (Born between 1997 and 1998). The abstracted faces represent each one of us (Domuard, Janol Antris, Bolo and me). The 9798 Camera Club is our “organization” since we all study photography and composition

Project No. 002 - Design Labs Tote
(featuring Oklahoma Smokes)
-
“A bag for all your stuff.” This was an attempt to take on modern fashion trends; tote bag. From my research, a tote bag resembles a canvas. The solution was to create a tote that unifies typography with imagery. The direction was to portray the key items that go into a tote bag. (Chess set, Oklahoma Smokes, Field Notes, pins). Partnered with Oklahoma Smokes to show the importance of tote bags.

Project No. 003 - Spectrum of Inspiration
-
This is a campaign for the Spectrum of Inspiration hoodie. For this ad, I portrayed the hoodie in different scenarios. The poster was designed to symbolize the spectrum. This idea was sparked by a matrix, showing off 2d and 3d vectors. The hoodie design was inspired by the colors from the Bauhaus movement. We’re all in the Spectrum of Inspiration.

Project No. 004 - Push Wood Not People
(Part of becoming a sponsor for FreedomNJ)

-
Teaming up with my buddy Coleman, we wanted to pay tribute to his idea of sponsoring a local indoor skatepark in Trenton, NJ. We came up with a shirt illustration and a positive message for all during the struggles 2020 brought upon everyone. The idea behind the flower was a symbolism for nature. To unify this, “Push Wood, Not People,” was a symbol for pushing a skateboard and not each other.

Project No. 005 - New Year, Same Bullshit
-
This shirt was inspired by the new 97 Labs logo. The idea was to show off the logo on a tee with playful message. To elaborate; this was an idea that I relate to personally. Each year flies by and each year feels the same, however there’s a lot to enjoy with each coming year, month and day (if you look at the positives). I wanted to take a simpler approach for this tee design and follow it up with enjoyable
themes for the ads.

Inbetween Projects  - Various Posters
-
Projects to continue engaging with followers inbetween drops. Focusing on enhancing our minds and perception. This was centered around exploring visual solutions, trying out new identities. Also created a mock chess club and interacted with the followers.

Beyond Winter.
December 2020 - March 2021
Beyond Winter. is a 4 month long project that emphasizes the influence of traveling. It is a documentation of my 2020-2021 winter season. The idea was to capture the moments that were simply inspired by snowboarding (or skiing).

To simply put it, this is the progression of the journey my friends and I had on and off the mountain. As a result, the photographs captured the experiences of our winter, collectively. The pursue for our passion as snowboarders or skiers or whatever it may be, brought us all together to create experiences that cannot be recreated.

On a more profound meaning, Beyond Winter. was a way to show how photography slows down each moment in time. One shot captures a memory; it captures time. The project was completed by organizing these photographs to tell a story. Next, I was able to have my friends write their own thoughs and share their own experiences and hear their own stories.

Special thanks to Two Robbers and Elevated Surfcraft for their support during this project.
