Frozen in a Daydream
A beautiful collection of life on and off the mountains all over the world.
Overview
Frozen in a Daydream, a photobook shot on 35mm, 120, and Super 8 film, through some of our best memories over the last ten years.
It all started with our first trip to Vermont back in 2015. The ten year mark felt like the right moment to pull everything together.Every year since that trip in 2015, there’s always been another one, somewhere. From quick East Coast ones like Lake Placid or Maine, to the big ones out West; Colorado, Utah, Lake Tahoe, or Montana. And then there were the holy grails. The Swiss Alps, the French Alps, and of course, Japan. Each and every one has left its mark. Each trip ultimately gave us something different. The unforgettable views, the lifelong friendships, and the stories we’ll hold onto forever. All of it — every single place, every single face, and most importantly, every single beer — led to the making of this book.
At 192 pages, it can’t quite capture the whole story, but it sure as fuck gives it a good shot. The photographs inside are the standouts: the ones that lingered in our minds long after we got home. The ones that really put an emphasis on everything we’ve been through. They celebrate the beauty of the landscapes we travelled through and the small moments in between — the laughter, the quietness, the chaos that made every trip what it is. As Domurad once said, “This photo I’m about to take of you is gonna be special to me.” That sentiment unconsciously became the theme of Frozen in a Daydream — a snapshot of friendship, travel, and the unanimous love for snowboarding. We’ve seen the world at its most sincere essence, and it’s been one hell of a ride.
So here’s to the next ten years with every single person who made these memories possible.
