Beyond Winter is a 130-page photobook and memoir chronicling the 2020–2021 winter season through the lens of snowboarding, friendship, and creative exploration during one of the most uncertain periods in our recent history. Captured over five months, the photographs document both the highs and lows of this unprecedented winter, reflecting the emotional and physical escapes that snowboarding offered amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The project grew organically from a desire to capture shared experiences on and off the mountain during these unprecedented times. Personal anecdotes and interviews with everyone involved add texture to the narrative, allowing each contributor’s voice and perspective to shape the story of that season. The book isn’t just a collection of photos—it’s a living record of human connection and creative documentation.
